Sun City West is Del Webb's second active-adult community in the West Valley, with the bulk of its housing built between the 1970s and 1990s. Like Sun City to the south, the housing is predominantly single-story ranch-style homes with flat foam roofs — most on their second or third recoating cycle, some past the point where coating alone can do the work.
