Spray foam roofs are protected by an elastomeric coating that keeps the sun's UV rays off the foam. How do I know if hail damaged my foam roof?
Hail damage on foam roofs is often small — cracked or punctured coating, bruised spots, and damaged skylights or vents. It's hard to see from the ground, which is why an on-roof inspection with documentation is the best way to know.
Should I wait to see if a leak shows up?
We don't recommend it. Once the coating is broken, sun and water can start damaging the foam underneath. Getting it inspected and documented early helps protect your roof and gives your adjuster clear evidence.
Will you work with my insurance company?
